Protein structure, function and assembly, as applied to vaccine design and formulation
Real name:
My main research focus is on the structures and functions of bacterial cell surface proteins. This includes a range of biophysical and structural methods, as applied to potential vaccine antigens. Much of my work to date has concentrated on meningococcal vaccines, but the technology we have developed could be readily applied to veterinary vaccines.
