My research interests includes the use of Bioinformatics, particularly proteomics tools to mine for potential novel vaccine antigens from whole bacterial genomes, cloning, expressing and purifying them to perform immunoassays and field inoculation to analyze immune responses in the field.

I am a Vaccines Production Officer at Kenya Veterinary Vaccines Production Institute and currently on secondment to Kenya Agricultural Livestock Research Organisation (KALRO) to assist with Bioinformatics and Molecular aspects in the project 'Development of a subunit vaccine against CBPP in Africa'. I have also previously served as a Quality Control and Assurance officer at KEVEVAPI.
I have a Bachelor of Science degree (Biochemistry) from Kenyatta University and Master of Science (Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics) from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology.
