I'm a Bachelor of Computer Engineering from the University of Pernambuco with a solid background in systems and network administration. I also hold a master's degree in Bioinformatics from The University of Melbourne. Currently, I'm a PhD candidate in Veterinary Science supervised Dr. Neil Young and co-supervised by Prof. Robin Gasser and Dr. Pasi Korhonen. I am interested in next-generation sequencing & "omics" of pathogens and vectors of infectious diseases.
