Pump-priming grants of up to £100,000 are available to allow IVVN members to accelerate their vaccine research, in order to improve vaccine development for livestock and zoonotic diseases in low-and-middle income countries (LMICs).
Pump-priming projects should aim to address a key bottleneck preventing the development of a vaccine, and will be awarded via competitive application to the IVVN Network Management Board.
Applicants must be members of the IVVN (free membership is available here), and we particularly welcome applications from members who are Early Career Researchers and/or based in LMICs and/or female researchers. Please note all applications must contain a UK-based applicant.
Please read the IVVN Pump-Priming Guidance notes before applying. Please send completed application form and associated documents to IVVN Network Manager Dr. Carly Hamilton at IVVN@roslin.ed.ac.uk by 9am on 17th October 2019.
Please send any queries about the grant call to Dr. Carly Hamilton at IVVN@roslin.ed.ac.uk.
