Poultry vaccine/ adjuvants/ immunity to vaccine
We are developing novel vaccine strategies to induce protective immunity against several pathogens by combining recombinant viral vectors without instigating vaccine interference. We are also studying the role of innate and adaptive immunity in vaccine interference.
The role of adjuvants in improving the immunogenicity and protective efficacy of poultry vaccines are being studied. We are also developing methods and tools to monitor adaptive immune responses to vaccines in poultry and correlate that with protection.
