Veterinary Vaccines development for bacterial food borne and zoonotic pathogens.
Real name:
I am trained as veterinarian in India (1999-2004) and did Masters in Veterinary Medicine in India wherein I worked on S. aureus mastitis isolates and antimicrobial resistance. Then persued PhD in Molecular Microbiology at University of Reading (2009-2013) and did post doctoral researach at Institute of Microbiology and Infection in Birmingham, UK (2013-2016). Both my PhD and Postdoc work has been focused on understanding bacterial pathogenesis and host responses (MRSA and UPEC). Currently, I am Research associate at Department of Veterinary Medicine, Universtiy of Cambridge, working on BBSRC sLOLA funded project on developing glyco-engineered veterinary vaccines.
